Sales are Lit Alerts New York market data-set estimates for January 1 – September 17, 2026 — built by sampling public dispensary menus, so they are estimates rather than point-of-sale figures, and a single store's number should be read that way. Locations and licence details come from the Office of Cannabis Management's Current Licenses dataset on data.ny.gov, joined to the sales list by name and address. “Licensed, not open” means an active retail licence with no recorded sales. “No sales this period” covers 134 locations that traded in earlier data and recorded nothing in this window. A chain is any operator with two or more selling stores, grouped by the name on the door. Regions follow OCM planning regions, with New York City split by borough.
