On July 16, 2026, New Jersey's Cannabis Regulatory Commission voted 4–0 to revoke every license held by Mollitiam NJ, a licensed cultivator and manufacturer in Plainfield whose brand was Jersey Strong.
According to the commission, Mollitiam grew cannabis outdoors on Sussex County farmland the state never approved, trucked the harvest to its licensed site, and sold it into the legal market, where other companies turned it into THC distillate. The plants were tagged, the product was tested, and none of it was caught until someone at the company told an inspector.
This is how it unfolded, from the CRC's own resolutions, minutes and slides — and what the record still doesn't say.
